“I am thankful for the work of many in the state legislature, and for the accomplishments that we have made during this session,” said Lieutenant Governor Kinder. “Although I had hoped for many more accomplishments in senior funding and veterans tax issues, I remain dedicated to those causes and look forward to their successful passage next year. I am also grateful that the legislature made the necessary changes to the controversial ‘Village Law.’ This legislation, passed in 2007, has since been repealed to help protect the rights of all Missouri property owners.”
